Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ChiongAh mobile application (“ChiongAh”, “the app”), published by BeaconWeaves (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using ChiongAh, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The service

ChiongAh provides information about Singapore public transport, including bus and train arrival estimates, routes, journey planning, service alerts, and related features. Transit information is sourced from third parties, primarily Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA DataMall).

Accuracy and reliance

ChiongAh is provided as a convenience. Arrival times, routes, alerts, and other transit information are estimates supplied by third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Do not rely on ChiongAh for time-critical, safety- critical, or emergency decisions. Always follow official signage and the guidance of transport operators and authorities. ChiongAh is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Land Transport Authority or any transport operator.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its underlying services; or
• misuse transit data obtained through the app in breach of the data providers’ terms.

Purchases

ChiongAh may offer in-app purchases (such as a one-time premium unlock). Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.

Intellectual property

ChiongAh, including its name, design, and software, is owned by BeaconWeaves and protected by applicable laws. Transit data and any third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. These Terms do not grant you any rights to those marks or data beyond normal use of the app.

Disclaimer of warranties

ChiongAh is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BeaconWeaves shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, ChiongAh or from reliance on any information provided by it.

Changes

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of- law principles.
